The Pacific Northwest Clan Gregor Society   has a Scholarship program open to all youth between between the ages 12 and 21 at time of application.  The Clan Gregor recently donated 5 drums to the Northwest Junior Pipe Band to support our program, and we couldn’t be happier with their support!  Learn about this straightforward scholarship program here>>.  The main requirements are age; and a demonstrated commitment to Scottish oriented activities and a desire to maintain and foster Scottish culture.

British Columbia Pipers Association has “bursaries” and possible funding for special projects available.

Washignton Pipers Association holds a random drawing for a couple of scholarships for their members every year to support piping / drumming camps.  Membership costs $10.00 for individuals, and 15.00 for families.  They also host monthly competitions January through May, posted in our calendar.

Celtic Arts foundation (Skagit Valley Highland Games sponsors), they’ve provided a couple of grants to NWJPB in the past (last season they helped us buy our new snare drums), but will also support individual Scottish arts instruction: http://www.celticarts.org/PDFS/2003/CAF_scholarship.pdf
